Origin
Where goods were produced, or where a transport movement begins — two different meanings worth separating.
In customs, origin is the country where goods were produced or last substantially transformed; see country of origin. In transport, origin is simply where a movement starts.
The two frequently differ, and conflating them is a common error. Goods manufactured in one country and shipped from a warehouse in another have one origin for duty and another for freight.
