FTA
Free trade agreement: a treaty reducing or removing tariffs between its parties for originating goods.
An agreement between two or more countries reducing or eliminating tariffs on goods traded between them.
The benefit is conditional, not automatic. Goods must satisfy the agreement’s rules of origin, and the claim must be supported by whatever proof of origin the agreement specifies. Goods merely shipped from a partner country do not qualify.
