Cash on delivery
Payment collected at the point of delivery, usually by the carrier on the seller’s behalf.
The carrier collects payment when it hands over the goods and remits it to the seller. Common in domestic and e-commerce delivery, rare in international trade, where the carrier is rarely willing to take on the collection risk across borders.
