First US anti-dumping ruling on welded stainless pipe from India, Türkiye and UAE pushed to 10 February
Commerce has moved its first anti-dumping findings on welded stainless pipe from India, Türkiye and the UAE to no later than 10 February 2027.

US importers of welded stainless pipe from India, Türkiye and the UAE get more time. The first anti-dumping findings will now come no later than 10 February 2027.
The US Department of Commerce set out the delay in a notice due in the Federal Register on 2 November 2026. It says: "As a result, Commerce will issue its preliminary determinations no later than February 10, 2027."
The findings were due by 22 December 2026. The petitioners asked for the delay on 23 October 2026.
The case covers welded stainless line and pressure pipe. It is an investigation, so no anti-dumping duty applies yet.
This matters for US buyers of this pipe, such as oil, gas and process plant firms. It also matters for exporters in the three countries.
What to check
- Do you import welded stainless line or pressure pipe from these countries?
- Does your contract say who pays any future duty?
- Will you track the findings due by 10 February 2027?
