Intermediate Bulk Container
A reusable mid-sized container for liquids or granulated goods, sized between a drum and a bulk tank.
A palletised container, typically around a cubic metre, for liquids, powders and granulates. It sits between drums and bulk tanks in capacity and is handled by forklift.
Where the contents are hazardous, the container itself must be of an approved and marked type, and its periodic testing is part of compliance.
