IATA
The International Air Transport Association, whose rules govern much of air cargo documentation and dangerous goods.
The trade association of the world’s airlines. For cargo, its significance is regulatory in practice: IATA’s Dangerous Goods Regulations are the operative rulebook for hazardous cargo by air, and its accreditation scheme governs which agents may tender cargo to airlines.
