Flat Rack Containers
A container with no sides or roof, used for cargo too large or awkward for a closed box.
A container consisting of a base and, usually, collapsible end walls. It carries machinery, vehicles and other cargo that will not fit inside a standard unit.
Cargo on a flat rack is exposed and often out of gauge, which attracts additional charges and constrains stowage on the vessel.
