Dock Receipt
A receipt acknowledging that goods were delivered into the carrier’s custody at the terminal.
Issued when goods are handed over at the terminal, recording quantity and apparent condition. It evidences receipt before shipment and is typically exchanged for the bill of lading once the goods are loaded.
