Breakbulk Vessel
A ship designed to carry individually handled cargo, usually fitted with its own cranes.
A vessel built for cargo handled piece by piece rather than in containers, commonly with its own lifting gear so it can work at ports without heavy shore cranes.
That self-sufficiency is why breakbulk tonnage still serves project cargo and ports with limited infrastructure.
