Aggregate shipment
Several separate consignments combined and moved as one, usually to obtain a better rate than each would earn alone.
Several consignments grouped and forwarded as a single shipment, normally to reach a rate break that none would qualify for individually.
The economics are the same as consolidation; the term is more often used where the shipments share one shipper rather than many.
