FAS

Incoterms rule: the seller delivers alongside the vessel at the named port; risk passes there.

Free Alongside Ship. The seller delivers the goods alongside the vessel at the named port of shipment and clears them for export. Risk passes at that point.

For sea and inland waterway transport only, and genuinely suited to breakbulk and bulk cargo rather than containers - a container is handed over at a terminal days before the vessel arrives, so "alongside" does not describe what happens. Use FCA for containers.
