Place of Delivery
Where the carrier’s responsibility for the goods ends under the transport contract.
The point at which the carrier delivers and its responsibility ends. It may be a port or an inland point, and it need not match the destination named in the sale contract - the two documents can disagree, and the resulting gap is somebody’s cost.
