Packing List
A document itemising a shipment’s contents package by package, with weights and dimensions.
Sets out what is in each package, with marks, numbers, weights and dimensions. It carries no prices.
Customs and terminals use it to check goods against the declaration without opening every carton, so inconsistency between the packing list, the commercial invoice and the declaration is a reliable way to attract examination and delay.
