Mode of Transport
The means by which goods move: sea, air, road, rail or inland waterway.
The transport method used. It determines which liability convention applies, which documents are issued, which dangerous goods rulebook governs, and which Incoterms rules are appropriate - four of the eleven are for sea and inland waterway only.
