Apparent Good Order
A carrier’s statement that goods looked undamaged externally when received — it says nothing about the contents.
Wording on a transport document recording that the goods appeared sound when the carrier took them, judged from the outside only.
It is a statement about packaging, not contents. A carton can be received in apparent good order and contain broken goods, which is the basis on which concealed damage claims arise.
